GRIDD’s research in the field of integration, collaboration and lean construction aims to improve the performance and increase the value generated by the built assets industry by ensuring, in particular, the alignment of stakeholders in terms of objectives, incentives and requirements, and the improvement of communications between them.

GRIDD researchers also aim to equip individuals working on project teams to stabilize work and material flows, reduce variability in project execution, optimize project components and, ultimately, eliminate waste.
